Sweep — Clean Screenshots · Last updated July 7, 2026

Short version: Sweep does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Everything happens on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no servers.

What Sweep accesses

Sweep requests access to your Photos library, with your permission, solely to:

Find screenshots on your device
Group them by month and calculate storage size
Delete the ones you choose to remove
Detect visually similar or duplicate screenshots

All of this processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos and screenshots are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with Sweep's developer or any third party.

Data we do not collect

Sweep does not collect:

Your photos, screenshots, or any image data
Your name, email, or any account information — Sweep has no accounts
Analytics, usage tracking, or crash reports
Advertising identifiers
Location data

Third parties

Sweep does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services.

Children's privacy

Sweep does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.
